Reaching The Unreached

Dr. Lie empathizes with the fate of people without access to healthcare, just like Susanti who almost lost her life.

“If there is one Susanti, then there must be millions who are unreached?”

Dr. Lie’s faith and compassion compels him the courage to do something to change the status quo; He sold his house and purchased a small wooden boat with a radical vision that if those millions who are unreached cannot get access, then we’ll bring the medical help they need. RSA dr. Lie Dharmawan, the smallest floating hospital in world, was conceived with vision to reach the unreached. This was the starting point of doctorSHARE’s vision to empower those in suffering to holistically come out of their own suffering and we do that by bringing healthcare accessibility to them.

We seek to serve as Indonesia’s model healthcare system for remote island regions by providing:

RSA dr. Lie Dharmawan
Being the first and smallest private floating hospital in the world, she is equipped with ECG, USG, laboratory, surgery room, resuscitation space and a patient examination room, similar to a Type D landed-hospital.

Flying Doctors
As a key program established to address the needs of people in areas that can only be accessed by air or by foot, doctorSHARE partners with several pilots of small aircrafts to reach these communities living in remote mountainous regions of Indonesia.
Urban Medical Services
doctorSHARE helps people who could not access healthcare facilities due to socio-economic factor by providing free basic & advanced medical services such as general check up, minor operations; as well as basic health education & training for the local communities.
Disaster Aid Response
Geographically, Indonesia is located on the meeting point of three tectonic plates that resulted in vulnerability to natural disasters such as earthquake, volcanic eruptions, and tsunami.

doctorSHARE’s third floating hospital and the world’s 1st hospital barge, RSA Nusa Waluya II is a joint collaboration between doctorSHARE and PT. Multi Agung Sarana Ananda (MASA). The floating hospital will be the designated secondary-level health care facility for northern Tanimbar

Therapeutic Feeding Center – Kei, Maluku
TFC is is doctorSHARE’s program in providing health treatment to children with malnutrition and related diseases. The program designed for TFC is intended to improve children nutrition, cure the related diseases, and change lifestyle of the family or caregiver to the pattern of clean and healthy living.

Tuberculosis Program – Sentani, Papua
Tuberculosis Program in Papua is a long-term program aimed to reduce the prevalence of Tuberculosis in Papua through methods of identifying suspect, detection, refer and seek treatment for Tuberculosis cases. Tuberculosis Program aims to reduce prevalence of Tuberculosis through awareness, early detection and complete treatment of Tuberculosis suspects and community empowerment to become Pendamping Minum Obat (PMO) also serves as general clinic.

In-City Clinic
The doctorSHARE clinic is one of doctorSHARE’s medical service programs for Jakarta and its surrounding areas. The doctorSHARE clinic presents medical services at affordable prices, so that they can be accessed by the general public and private parties domiciled around the clinic. Primary services provided covers general medicine, minor surgery, dental care and health consultation.
